The Filipina Pen & Ink (FPI) Leadership Institute is an initiative of Filipina Pen & Ink, an all women writing collective based in the Philippines.
The institute aims to provide spaces for global conversations among women and young women on issues on sexual and reproductive health, violence against women, women and trade, women and climate justice, indigenous women, and conflict and militarisation.
The FPI Leadership institute aims to raise awareness on the role of women and young women in these development issues and be able to cultivate efforts and actions geared towards building a more just and feminist framework of development.
Pen & Ink believes first and foremost that violence is done through gender in a continuum and that it is found in various intersections in the personal and the political across varied identities.
The FPI Leadership Institute encourages action through mobilisation, exposure and support of campaigns on both global and local calls on our priority / thematic areas where we can counter this continuum.
Through these global and local campaigns, we seek to counter these messages and form alternatives that call for a stronger women’s community.
If you are an organization who is interested to learn about intersectional feminism, would like assistance on program development and implementation, as well as media support by Pen & Ink, kindly send us an email at: firstname.lastname@example.org
